Present for Xinyi

It is Xinyi's bday on Monday
So we went to get a present for her
Brandon asked me how to spell Xinyi's name
Then he copied the Happy birthday words from the deco we pasted on the wall for his bday
then signed off
How lovely...

Cousins gathering

We called Brandon and told him there was a bday cake for him
He happily ran to the table and said "this is not a cake"
But still happily and readily cut the cake with Auntie Paula

And was quite pleased with it.. haha

He was looking forward to his 4th bday celebration at lorna whiston!
Bday celebration is quite a big thing in his school

Both Brandon and brian helped me to pack the goodie bags for his friends
After he distributed them to his friends, they all automatically went to keep in their own pigeon holes with their other belongings
It was a nice sight!

Apparently this is the 2nd cake for the day as another friend also celebrated her bday early in the morning!!!

Happy 4th bday to Brandon!
I am glad and am very happy with his development
More importantly, I want him to be healthy and happy as always!!!
I think he is quite comfortable with himself, quite contented, rarely ask for more ie new things except for Thomas toys
Has grown to be more independent since going to school
Has grown to accept my reasoning
Has grown to clean up and wash up after using cups and plates
Has grown to be able to speak Chinese quite naturally
I have to thank his school...

and I witness other gals run up to him calling "Brandon Brandon" and trying to hold his hand and pull him along too,.

Happened to be her last day as Lee Lao Shi is coming back from maternity leave
I must thank Wei Lao Shi as he started to sing a lot of Chinese songs and started to say he likes to read Chinese books after she started teaching him
She hugged him and told him that she really loves him as he is a fast learner, learnt after she taught once, and will remember even weeks after..

Haze

The haze has been bad,, record level of PSI 401 that day

I know call him the fruit expert
because he could name a lot of fruits which I have seriously not heard before..
ie Cherimoya, Sapodilla
These fruits are really exotic and he told me he wants to eat them one day...

I think Brandon is ready to watch movie
he asked to go back to watch and sat through with me for quite a few films while Brian went with Daddy to do some artwork

Brian the little brother

Brian is slowly growing up too..
He gets jealous easily when we spend time with Brandon, but will take good care of his brother
He will block the entrance when we threaten to go out first when Brandon was taking his own sweet time to get ready.
He snatched my phone away when I threaten to call the police when Brandon was naughty
He will protect me and try to shield me from danger
He told me that day "if u pain pain, my heart will be pain pain"
This must be one of the best thing I have heard,, made my day...

He will scold his little brother and ask Brian to apologize to me when he is naughty
He no longer return blows when Brian hit him, and he will come and tell me,,

To PP on his favourite ride

Spent most of the morning with Brian at popular bookstore, read books, walked ard, and bought water colour for them
He insisted on buying 2 sets saying "if not Brandon will be sad"
Haha, I guess I had to although I initially tot they could share the set..

was a bit apprehensive abt them using watercolour initially as I was worried abt the mess, but after all the exposure in school, I think it is time to try it at home.. and I was glad that it could keep him occupied for quite some time!!!

During our trip to PP earlier on, he kept telling me he has not tried a few types of fruits and requested for me to buy for him
He is one boy who loves to try new things, esp fruits

And the brother joins in after school
From their completed artwork, I can see that Brian is more conservative than Brandon..
maybe it has got to do with both character as well as method of learning in school

My little doctor

Despite having 2 toy doctor set, he still prefers to play with the real stethoscope
Gong Gong sprained his back again and could hardly walk that day, and Brian immediately ran to take my stethoscope and this is what he did...

School holidays for Brian while Brandon is still attending school
Brian has been asking to go to sentosa for water play... while Brandon is not exactly a fan of such waterplay
