Singapore Swimming Club

We have finally got the membership to the Singapore Swimming Club
That marks the begninning of my healthy lifestyle..
Went for my swim.. and really enjoyed it...
A big changing area with jacuzzi and sauna inside..

We explored the area a little.. found good places in the library for Daddy to do his work while i swim
Then we proceeded to have nice food at affordable prices.. without the crowd..
Not forgetting there is a room with massage chairs and really dim light for pple to relax and sleep...
Live bands on fridays and weekends while we dine, KTV rooms, bowling and a spa...

But this is one of the most impt rooms of all for now

Quite an old place.. but good enough to keep them entertained while i can have my swim..

Looking forward to going there more often!

POLW yet again!

After a few trips here.. Brian can finally go down this massive slide on his own!

He enjoyed himself tremendously.. and repeatedly went by himself to queue up for this slide and camd down by himself multiple times.. erm i mean really countless times..
brandon has improved too.. this time he got himself all wet and allowed water to splash down his head and face.. and went down the slide with me multiple times.. That was a great breakthrough for Brandon who did not use to enjoy waterplay!

I was really tired.. must be getting old.. legs felt like jelly after repeatedly going down the slide..
Hence we had a feast!!!

Ice cream treat after the feast!

Ice cream is one of the few things that will always bring on this kind of smile!

It was a really fun morning at Sentosa!!!

They had a great time, not forgetting the games, beautiful artworks to bring home as well as wild running around with brandon's best friends.. they all behave the same.. and i was relieved that this is really the NORM.

1. Poor 3rd Uncle and auntie always have to bring him along when they go dating.. wat a lightbulb..
2. He innocently accepted a cotton candy thinking it is free.. and 3rd Uncle had to pay for him...

Brandon's art work

First thing he did when he woke up in the morning..
he loves to draw.. esp drawing trains
I went downstairs to run some errands, and he took my phone to take a phot of this picture as he knew i like to take pictures of his drawing...!

Year End Concert (N2)

i was overseas last year and missed his concert, so glad to be able to attend this yr!
The Great Raintree concert at Biopolis.. so far away!

Was still pretty happy during the car ride.. but it was too long a car ride on a rainy day and he vomitted all over his costume! Brandon then became very worried and repeated a few times 'later my teacher will get angry.. later i cannot perform on stage anymore and you cannot see me perform..." I had to reassure him a few times...

Managed to help him wash his costume and dry it using the hand dryer in the toilet and made it for the performance!
It started with the K2 getting their certs, and each and every one of them gave a fantastic speech on stage.. i was very impressed as not only the few good ones could do it.. EVERY SINGLE ONE did a great job!

I did not take pictures of brandon's peformance as i was taking a video..
I already heard him practice the long chinese poem many times at home, as well as his dance..
And they really did a great job!!!
This is the story of saving the great raintree and being Green. Each of the K2 student had one main leading role in the story..

Anyway, i was mentioning to him about anatomy, and one day while i was lying in bed he "cut" my abdomen with his hand and said "mama, i cut open ur tummy and see ur intestines"
