updates on Brandon

The big brother who often gets mistaken as the younger brother
Brandon is a considerate boy, things he does include bending down when he walks pass the TV so that he would not block us, apologised as he had to switch on the toilet nights at night when i was sleeping, went out of the room to cough so as not to disturb Brian who was sleeping.
Brandon enjoys eating and eats a whole share or sometimes more than a whole share of an adult portion, but i wonder where did the food go.. But glad that he is eating so well now and remains a very active boy
Brandon is always very thankful for the little things in life, thanked us for many little things that we did or for things given to him
Brandon is also a thrifty little boy, does not ask to buy new clothes and shoes and would continue to wear them till it is really worn out.
Lastly, Brandon is a really good big brother. He takes good care of Brian. Once i saw him readily cut his egg into 2, and gave the half to Brian without Brian asking. There was once when brandon went to the Dr and was given a sweet. As he did not ask for another one, he readily gave this one and only sweet to Brian.

He is a very independent little boy, he wakes up by himself at night and went to the toilet by himself.
He even poured his urine away from his potty and rinsed the floor thereafter. He finishes his homework without anyone reminding him to.
He is a hoarder as well, keeping all sorts of things in his cupboard.. haha, i guess that is related to his thrifty nature!
For academics, he simply enjoys mathematics. He enjoys his abacus class every thurs and looks forward to it. Yesterday he was thinking about numbers before his bedtime. he came to me and asked me if 99 -56 =43 and said he was imagning the abacus in his mind and could do a mental sum for this!
His mandarin has improved significantly too and i think his mandarin pronounciation is better than English. He is in love with Chinese idioms, thanks to his teachers and the book that SF gave him. He also loves reciting chinese poems!
He is a really creative boys, coming up with new ideas for games. He has created multiple games and mazes for us to play.
Wishes for Brandon: Continue to grow up a healthy boy, continue to thoroughly enjoy whatever u do and be confident in yourself! 

Updates on Brian

Our little cheeky boy who has an eye for details
He would notice that I am wearing a new dress, a new ring or a new pendant and would comment on it
He has a liking for marine theme stuff, as well as wood and metal ornaments or deco for the home
He enjoys packing his room and decorating it to give it a different look and feel every now and then
He loves exploring and trying out new things, even if he were to do it alone, he would
New interest is currently bowling, and he has suggested he wanted to learn Judo, skating etc etc
A happy and cheerful boy that thoroughly enjoys the things that he does, especially eating and trying out new food
He takes good care of the family, he has helped check brandon's temperature when he was sick, helped check on Gong Gong as well as offered to dress a little wound of mine. He is also the lucky little Didi in the home as Brandon gives in to him quite readily.

He loves reading, and often takes a book and does his silent reading by himself
He is good in his language and his Phonics teacher has commented that throughout his last few years of teaching, Brian was the best student he has seen. Has improved significantly in his arts and drawing and enjoys doing it now. Also improved significantly in his maths, thanks to his brother for the influence. He speaks Mandarin to me in a much more natural manner now and is able to express himself satisfactorily, and even recite Chinese poems. He is very interested in reading science and country related books. He has learnt to be more assertive and to tell his friends if he dislikes what they are doing to him.
He prefers Brandon's friends to his own friends, and seems to set a high expectation for himself
He puts up his hands to answer most of the questions in class and has to be asked by teachers to give others a chance
Wishes for Brian: hope he continues to enjoy exploring new stuff and enjoys himself in whatever he does, as well as able to express his feelings better and moderate his expectations of himself as he is already doing a very great job!

He said he would go diving during his next swimming lessons, and he did..

Enjoyed it so much that we went back to bowl.. normal lights this time but still enjoyable
