Some of Brian's favourite toys

He purposely made the tyres like this, and told me the tyres are flat..
Then comes his favourite tow truck...

his 2 favourite puzzles..

Engrossed..

The animal farm puzzle given my 3rd Gu ma...
made more fun by his animal top ups from australia.. Tks again to all the Gu ma..

The other favourite.. fire engine puzzle courtesy of Gong Gong
Again made more fun with the fire station and the many little "people" hidden behind the station

The latest favourite.. tower crane..
Again made more fun with his excavator and many other vehichles..
Brian just told me "don't call me macdonald uncle.. i am now brother builder"
Wahaha...

Our wedding anniversary

Since our anniversary is at the period when we are having feasts every so often, we decided to have simple meals instead.. Ended up at Pasar Bella.. our first time here

Nice little place.. full of nice little shops..

Feels good just to walk around..many eating places inside as well.. but we ended up in one of the restaurants outside

That's our meal.. and the man who is there to share my happiness and dry my tears.
The rare times our wedding album sees the light ...

When i was still slim...
At times of difficulties, remember how u felt on ur wedding night, and how much u wanted to be with the very person for the rest of your life..

Xmas BBQ

BBQ dinner at 3rd Gu ma's house

The 2 look-a-like..They always say they are from the same team...

Found this in my phone.. shld be taken by brandon.. our cameraman for the night

Another photo taken by Brandon

The trigger happy cameraman!

The younger one was not too cooperative with photos..but still enjoyed himself

Us :)

Brandon has been very happy with the gatherings and activities..
He thoroughly enjoyed the company and had a great holiday season!!!

Finally a blurry photo of us.. courtesy of brandon!
That marks the end of our numerous Xmas celebrations.. but there are defnitely more gatherings to come!

Xmas Eve 2013

Xmas eve gathering at our house
Not much time to prepare as was working half day.. was afraid there might not be enough
But wow.. eventually it was still a great spread of food.. with contributions from everyone
3rd Kao Gong brought chilli crab.. not cooked by him although i have been hearing about the legendary crabs that he cooked!

Catching up over dinner on xams eve.. again lots of reminiscence..

Brandon had a late nap and woke up to see his Xmas presents!!!

Tks all for the presents!!
Brian was asleep and Brandon took the effort to keep his presents for him in the room.. and even kept aside a sweet that Leanne gave to him.

Desssert time!

And more pastries!

Enjoying the desserts..

While we continued to listen to more stories of the past from Kao gong..
Great memories.. but many sad stories..
We gotta count our blessings and stop complaining..

Brian woke up the next day and was presented his presents which his brother kept aside for him..
Brandon counted once again the no of presents to make sure it is correct..

Then we had to do this....
But haha.. i sort of enjoyed it!

Nice rite? Tks all for the presents once again!!!

Early Xmas Celebration!!!

It begins with presenting a present to Biu Gu ma

Followed by lots of good food!

More good food!

I always enjoy Xmas cos the food always looks great!

We are all ready to feast!

Enjoying the lunch...

While we catch up and spend time together..

The chempedal log cake we brought

The moment the kids have been waiting for!
Lugging their extremely large presents out of the room!

The thrill of tearing open the everything yet again!

But Brandon decided he might like the train set more...

And peacefully exchanged his present with Brian!!!
Now all ready to open his "new present"

Did this by himself and was proud of it!

While Brian needed daddy's help with this massive set up!

And Tada.... the tower crane!

Everyone came to admire it...

Brian was thrilled and totally engrossed in the playing.
it was one of the greatest present as it fitted well into this season's theme of construction work!

While the kids were busy with their new toys, the adults were busy reminiscing..
Looking thru the old photos... while we listened to the old stories..

Ended the day with Tang Yuan..

Although we were already very tired when we reached home.. Brian had to show off his new toy to Gong Gong immediately... And gong gong had a go at it too! haha..
Tks to paula for the great food and presents!!!
