Happy mother's day!!!

Mother's day card from Brian, he came back and said "Happy mother's day!"
Then he read out the words on the card and told me he pasted all the hearts by himself..

And siad he traced the words on the leaf.

I still cannot believe i am a mum of 2
How life has changed as a mum...
No more long relaxing dinner,no more dozing off while watching HK drama series
No more ad hoc going out with no prior planning
The life of a mum starts with rushing through routines in the morning while still trying to keep your child engaged while they try to talk to you and play with you. Coming back home to hugs and kisses and rushing through dinner while they talk about their school and pester me to play with them. Then play and play and hopefully some education through play.. then teaching them to write while the daddy falls asleep... bedtime is determined by the kid's bed time. And when finally it is time for me to sleep, the daddy will wake up and say "why are u so tired"
Such is the life of a mum...
And again, the life with 2 kids is not jjust 2x the work, it is likely 10x..
But i am glad they are enjoying each other's company, and it never fails to touch me to see such brotherly ties.
I know it is pretty stressful for an only child to see your parents grow old and fall sick, with no one to discuss things with. I hope the brotherly ties remain strong and they will be there to support each other through the years!
That is my mother's day wish... if i am allowed one.

Saturday Outing

Since we did not get to go on Brian's bday, we had to make it up today..

Happy to the max!!!

Nice little area for little children to play.. and quite a safe place for them to run around

Brandon is always moe conservative when it comes to waterplay
he told his teachers in school that he does not like his face and hair wet..

Brian enjoyed himself tremendously and has been asking for water play

Did not have much time for the slide

Keeping them occupied at Fish and Co with colouring for mother's day

Brian's 3rd Bday!!!

Went early to his school to pick him up
Brought him to Tampinese 1 for water play but it was closed for maintenance
Took the kiddy ride outside the foodcourt while we ordered our food
A bit odd in a hello kitty ride but only 2 rides there..

I asked him to choose b/w salmon and fish soup, he chose salmon
I presented this whole plate to him and said this is his bday lunch and he was delighted!
Wow... mama, why is today;s lunch so nice??
Indeed, it tasted much nicer than it looks

Changed out of uniform for play time!

Went to another level for more rides!
At the end of Braney ride, Barney said "you are the best driver"
How delighted Brian was and his face brightened at that comment!

I did not decorate the house, but when he woke up that morning, he said "bday party must have balloons, mama, i want many balloons for the party". How can i not fulfil this simple wish of the bday boy..
hence when he was at school, i decorated the house with ballons, and he came back to a surprise!

Bought a balloon pump that came with these long balloons
Brian insisted on blowing them up
And he bacame a fireman with his balloon hose

He said this is his fire truck with the water hose

Enjoyed himself thoroughly with just balloons!

he wanted me to pump 2 small balloons, which he said are lemon and oranges for his door
and he helped me pump more balloons to decorate his room!

Hotdogs, onion rings (which he named necklace), fishballs, and nuggets
Feasting on the food before we start dinner officially!

Welcomed Brandon home for the party
And the party starts with a crazy balloon games by the 2 of them

Finally settled down for the party proper

He usually does not like posing for photos
This is one rare occasion as he felt very happy and proud of himself for being 3 years old
I think he is looking more and more like Daddy :(

With my dear son Brian.. i hope u will grow up to be a healthy and happy boy
He is a very sweet boy to us.. whenever we buy him something, he will hug us and say 'thank you so much for buying this for me"

He kept asking for ambulances and imagining there is a stretcher
Now he dun need to imagine, there is a real stretcher which he puts his bears etc and sends them to hospital, then pretend to be a doctor..

This is the first time i tasted the other dishes, as previously we are already quite full after an individual pot of shark's fin, and all we could stomach is just the fried rice!
