Teban Gardens

Great memories... Stayed here till I was in JC...many years of memories

Blk 30 where I stayed, next to 31 which is facing the Pandan reservoir
On the other side used to be a large field and a park with shelter and BBQ pits
I could still remember walking home from my primary and secondary school, past the bastketball court through the park .. and the pple I met/got to know along the way/the pple who have followed me home wahaha..

I was shocked that I almost lost all the memories about this place.. how could I?
perhaps this place has changed a lot. but after walking ard, memories came back,,
this is the coffeeshop opp which we always eat at, just the 3 of us, and sometimes we would walk a bit further to the coffeeshop at the back, next to the stationery shop.. These are memories of my childhood days till JC with my parents, and never would I have imagine that I would have a photo of my husband in this picture!!!

I did not remember I stayed so near a mosque!

What used to be an open field and a small park...
I am amazed how many buildings can fit into that space

Snapshots of schoolwork

Brandon's drawing of himself being sick

The few times when there were different expressions other than a smiley face

Now this is Brian's drawing of his brother!!!

Although Brian is not as inclined towards Art, the comments from his teachers are all quite good, and he is able to complete most of his work independently.

Keep it up Brian!

Fun with cousins!

Brandon having fun doing artwork with Charmaine.
Yes he really loves art, and he asked me to let him go to a drawing class.

Brian having fun with Leanne..
They have similar interest in Peppa Pig, and now in Little kingdom
At the airport, it was really non stop role playing characters in Little Kingdom..

Artwork

Brandon's artwork, he loves drawing and making houses, so he cut and paste, and decorated it by himself
And Brian wanted to do the same too..

And this is Brian's artwork.. haha

I was quite happy about this, cos it kept them entertained for quite a long while!!!
And I must say the colours that Brandon mixed were all quite nice!

I forgot who drew this clock..
I interprete clock drawings very day for the elderly to see which part of the brain is impaired, and gosh... I dun wanna interprete this..

Brian's playtime

I forgot to mention that Brian is like a Garang Guni..
He refuses to let me throw away a lot of things, and look at what he has picked up from outside!!!
He claimed he need this box to put all his toys... faints...

I have been showing pictures of Brandon and his trains, now Brian is beginning to play with his own toys too.. this is what he has set up using his lego set

And he invented some games/obstacle course for the people!

Dream come true

Extremely happy with his new toy, and insisted on posing for a photo

Engrossed +++
Tks to Auntie Paula, it is like a dream come true for them!

updates on Brian 2014

Brian going into his class
I am glad that Brian is enjoying is lesson at Lorna Whiston and seems excited about all the different events going on..
I brought him to school one day and to my surprise he dragged his own bags and pushed me away, saying "mama, u go out, I can do it by myself". Yes, have to admit he is growing up, and soon enough does not need me anymore!

Brian is good in his language, and could read most of the books Brandon brought back from his class. He has even picked up some Malay from my helper. I was telling my helper to take a plate and she seems blur, then Brian said something in malay, and she actually could understand!!!

He is a very loving young boy, who will kiss and hug us with lots of " I love you". His idol is his daddy, and he wants to be a "builder, worker, and renovater"??!!
