CNY 2014 D3

CNY D3, we were supposed to have a gathering at Biu Gu Ma's house, but ironically we had the gathering at her wake instead. This is a really different CNY, and it will be remembered for years to come.
At least we were consoled that we were all there to say our last words and goodbyes, and were with her till her very last breath. The last stretch was a peaceful one, and she will now be relieved of pain and suffering.
Throughout these years, i have done many CPRs and certified many deaths but it is the first time i have witnessed someone close breathe their last as we stood by her. It makes me realise once again that life is vulnerable, and we have to remember to take good care of our health and to treasure the pple ard us.
I will take care of the jade that she has passed to us and tell her stories to the next generation. And interestingly when i put on the jade for the very first time, i could smell the incense exactly like what it smelt like at her wake.
We really appreciate what she had done for all of us... and we are gonna miss her...
Gatherings during Xmas and CNYs were not gonna be the same anymore but i am glad we had beautiful memories..
