Melbourne D1 -- Farm Stay

Complimentary limousine transport from airport to the farm

In time to join the tour of the farm.
First stop: Pony ride

Brian's turn at the pony ride

2nd stop: milking the cow

Everyone having a turn at milking the cow

3rd stop: time with the small animals!

Duckling

Guinea pig

Rabbit

Endless fun with the little animals!

Keeping the animals and helping out at the farm
Next Stop: feeding the horse from the big stack of hay

Getting themselves very busy in the farm
and I find the horse very charming...

Off in the tractor for more work!

This one is not very enthusiastic about farm work

But it was fun feeding the sheeps and goats!

All the attention he needed

The hungry sheeps and our little Brian

Amused by geese...

Trying to feed the lonely deer

End of work...

Feeding the ducks

At the vegetable farm where we will get our food for the next few days

Chasing the hens!!!

And I caught it!!

Colouring their certificate... they really earned it!!!

Finally checked in to our farm house

One of the rooms which we rarely use

The room which we all squeezed into

Their favourite double decker bed.. that comes with the little kangaroo

Our dinner for the first day
Ordered enough to last for the whole stay as there was no food around except for the vegetables and the eggs which we had to pick ourselves

Enjoying themselves at the backyard while Daddy and I enjoyed our long dinner while looking at them from within..

A slow stroll ard the farm after our long dinner

Still in the mood to work

managed to take a pic with the limousine that drove us to the farm!

picking up food for our breakfast tmr..

More for our breakfast

That marks the end of the long day at the Animal Land Children's Farm

Brian insisted on putting in the eggs in water to check if there are chicks inside
Apparently he was told that if it floats, it means there is a chick inside and he has to place in back in the chicken coop
This is a totally different experience for the boys.. back to basic.. away from the city..
Totally relaxing and refreshing!!
