Bangkok 2016 Day 3

Arranged for a private day trip but the car broke down on the expressway! But the boys were excited about being in the car while we were towed away...

The local driver introduced us to the burnt coconuts.. it was really nice!

Reached the train market

Very interesting local stalls on both sides of the tracks

And how they have to shift when the train passes through.. interesting local life and tourist spot..

The train came to a stop somewhere near the end of the stretch of stalls

The elephant camp

Once in a lifetime experience, told the boys we shld not do it again as the elephants seemed very tired

Hoot Hoot..

This is a 10 mth old tiger who drinks milk.. not quite what i imagined a 10 mth old tiger to be!!! Was quite scared as this size is not near what i saw of the baby cubs on the internet!!

Contrary to reports on the internet that the tigers are doped.. they are not. They are really well taken care off, and not a tiny bit sleepy. In fact, they are fierce and impatient..  This is indeed a once in a lifetime experience.. Phew.. we stepped out alive! And went past the neighbouring cages with the adult tigers who are fed meat.. but children are not allowed.

Local snacks and fruits bought from the freshest stall by the local driver

Proceeded to ARTBOX .. nice little artsy night market
