Bangkok 2016 Day 3

Arranged for a private day trip but the car broke down on the expressway! But the boys were excited about being in the car while we were towed away...

The local driver introduced us to the burnt coconuts.. it was really nice!

Floating market!

Reached the train market

Very interesting local stalls on both sides of the tracks

And how they have to shift when the train passes through.. interesting local life and tourist spot..

The train came to a stop somewhere near the end of the stretch of stalls

The elephant camp

Once in a lifetime experience, told the boys we shld not do it again as the elephants seemed very tired

Hoot Hoot..

This is a 10 mth old tiger who drinks milk.. not quite what i imagined a 10 mth old tiger to be!!! Was quite scared as this size is not near what i saw of the baby cubs on the internet!!

Contrary to reports on the internet that the tigers are doped.. they are not. They are really well taken care off, and not a tiny bit sleepy. In fact, they are fierce and impatient..  This is indeed a once in a lifetime experience.. Phew.. we stepped out alive! And went past the neighbouring cages with the adult tigers who are fed meat.. but children are not allowed.

Local snacks and fruits bought from the freshest stall by the local driver

Proceeded to ARTBOX .. nice little artsy night market

Bangkok 2016 D2

Complimentary Tuk Tuk from the hotel to the train station although it is actually within walking distance

First Stop for D2 -- Kidzania!

They have all the attention to themselves.. 1st job in Macdonald's.. made and ate their own burger

2nd job at petrol station

3rd job as a mechanic

4th job as deliveryman-- they enjoyed this so much that they went again and again. Very impressive professionalism needed with a script to introduce themselves and their mission at every stop

5th job: CSI I think, i cannot go in and can only take pic of the screen

6th job.. I don't know what this is.. a burglar?

7th job at the hospital-- gastroscopy room. Being a doctor is NOT a popular choice...

Some kind of investigator for the 8th job (for forensic investigation)

9th job, in court but not as a lawyer

10th job, most popular job with the longest queue-- on the fire- engine to the fire scene!

11th job: the coca cola boys.. not as models but working in the factory

12th job; meiji factory

After a busy day at "work" in Kidzania, the Kidzos they earned is hardly enough to buy something decent for themselves, hence they brought it home to use it in Spore. Time for afternoon teabreak at Mr Jone's orphanage!

Nice little cosy place with nice desserts

The whole place looks like a toy factory

Early dinner at the famous SOMTAM
