Last night in Rome

At the Vatican City

Very crowded with tourist

More of Vatican City

On our way to Trastevere

Trastevere is a busy and lively neighbourhood with the look and feel of a traditional small Italian town.
After our great shopping experience in Barcelona, we were all out to shop at the non tourist areas..
The very cheap pizzas from one of the local small bakeries.. the cheapest and definitely most delicious pizza we had during our trip

Enjoying our lunch at this small little bakery

One of the small streets in Trastevere

A local market

At Piazza Navona.. The smaller fountain

:)

The Fountain of 4 Rivers

The giant statues symbolize what were considered the world's four greatest rivers: the Nile, The Ganges, the Danube, and the Rio de la Plata

Went into a small restaurant serving home made pasta
This is the most delicious pasta we have ever tasted!!!

And of cos we gotta taste their tiramisu

Walked randomly and found some art exhibitions

The winged lion

More ruins along the way

This was how it used to look like

Went back to the Colosseum to catch the sunset and night view of it

I cannot describe how nice it is to be able to sit there and look at how it's colour and feel changes as the sun sets..

Stayed till it turned dark

Passed by the tomb of the unknown soldier again..
Very peaceful and nice at night

Went back to the Fountain of 4 rivers

Everything seems nicer at night

:)

And Daddy insisted on coming back to the Pantheon

The night view

Pantheon by night,,

Of cos we had to try the gelato again!!
The watermelon flavor was amazing. could taste the fiber!!!

So many flavours... so hard to choose
Brian would be elated
