life of a SAHM

Sent our helper back and we were without a helper for the past week
Was actually quite happy without this helper, my blood pressure also went down a bit without her making me angry and frustrated every day. Since she got a hp, she decided to move into the utility room to sleep even though we provided her with a room to sleep in. She will talk on the phone and messaged through the night, as i can hear her even at 4am!
Then when it is morning, she looks like a panda and her work is terrible. even simple cup washing.. she can wash and leave large amount of coffee residue at the bottom. Told her about a mistake and she still repeated it multiple times.. as nothing gets in.
No eye contact when we talk to her or try to teach her things in a nice manner and she even walked away.
In the day, the most energetic i have seen of her is when a fellow maid called her from the corridor downstairs or come up to my house to chat with her at the corridor!!!
Then it progressed to her chatting on the phone with them when they called out to her from downstrairs, and giggling away when i was alone with the kids at home. I told her that she shld not use the phone when we are all busy. She then lied to say cos her husband is sick. Such giggling and laughing when her husband is sick.. and then she shouted that is was only 5 min of chatting.. and she said she would move to the streets to sleep then.
That was the last straw and I sent her back the very night.
Without seeing her face when i wake up the next day.. i actually felt so happy and relieved.
I started to do the housework and cleaned the house.. and felt happy about the condition of my house
Also discovered all the terrible things she had done.. like keeping rubbish in the children's drawers, just stuffing anything in.. even plastic bags, crushed paper etc as she was too lazy to pack. Damaged my chairs (not just the one above) and many other things.

Unfortunately Brandon fell sick during this period.
Spiked fever of 39.5 for at least 4 days in a row.. despite augmentin
Took quite a while to settle....

But in the meantime, i could cook nice food for the family

Scallop egg..

What was most satisfying was the boys helping me with chores.
now brian is good at folding clothes and keeping them in the wardrobe.
And what was even better was that i could see that the kids were not so frustated too.. less temper tantrums.
Because we pack up everything before sleep and they could find where their things were.
Previously the helper would just dump things into anywhere convenient, and u might find a pair of scissors or markers with toys instead of in the stationery box. hence the boys would get frustrated not being able to locate their things..
How one person could mess up your life... and i am really glad she is no longer ard..
