Our first meal in Venice
Was told the food here is not good and to just go for the cheapest one around
Turned out not too bad..

Affordable meal that came with gelato

Walked around the place

And taking in the view
After going to big cities.. this is like a holiday resort

Walked and walked..

Mostly shops selling souvenirs and glass

San Marco

 


St Mark's Square is the principal public square of Venice
The 2 spaces form the social, religious and political centre of Venice

The biblioteca designed by Sansovino and one of the 2 columns in the piazzetta

Shops and many stalls selling art along the way
Some are really nice.. so many talented pple ard
THis is so lacking in spore

The lion of Venice is an ancient bronze winged lion sculpture

More shops along the way
Rather touristy..

Still at San Marco, trying to while away time till sunset

It feels really different at night

Nice way to spend the night

With music and nice lights and buildings

Feeling satisfied, we made our way back to the hotel

NO aircon but probably u dun need one with this kind of weather
Opened the windows on the first night and regretted it as we were feeding mosquitoes
Daddy could not sleep as there was a thunderstorm that night that disrupted with the wifi and he could not surf the net
This is how a city man cannot live without the internet..
And of cos if he gets no sleep.. I shall get no sleep too..
